BSU (boligsparing for ungdom) is the best way for people under 34 years to save towards a home of their own. The interest rate is high and there is a 20% tax reduction. Last year I made a simple animation video that summarized the advantages linked to this kind of saving scheme. This video was made with Moovly, but since I recently started using Videoscribe, the video had to be redesigned, making it possible for me to offer the film to other banks in the Eika Group. Totens Sparebank also wanted to use the video in a BSU-campaign focusing on their sponsorship with YOG (Youth Olympic Games) in Lillehammer 2016. So the movie had to be adapted to that with a new combination logo featuring both YOG’s and the bank’s logos together. Totens Sparebank is the official bank sponsor of YOG.
This new commercial was a success with 11 banks in total ordering their own copy adapted to their graphical profile! Some of the banks also wanted a shorter version (kind of a “reminder”) to use in their facebook-feeds and in local movie theaters. Have a look at both the long and the short version below.
